Wroxham, known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads, is 16 miles away and offers fine restaurants and boat hire for exploring the waters. The classic seaside resort of Great Yarmouth is within 30 miles, as well as the more understated bay of Hemsby Beach. Here, you can follow the 3.5-mile route along the coastal path to Winterton Valley, where you can grab a bite to eat and perhaps spot the colony of grey seals regularly seen basking on the beach.
