This lovely cottage for two has been sympathetically restored, and retains the feel of a 'chocolate box' cottage in a wonderful rural setting. Within the grounds of the owners' country estate it is so very tranquil and offers a place to get away and enjoy the peace of the countryside. Roo cottage is very spacious with its main sitting room and log burner. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped and upstairs there is a large bedroom with a super king sized six foot bed. There is a modern shower room downstairs fitted with a rain shower head as well as a hand held shower attachment. We must advise guests that the property is not suitable to people with limited mobility or who also have difficulty with stairs. The stairs are steep and there is not a landing at the top which means you have to step from the stair treads in to the bedroom. Outside the garden space available to guests is extensive and there is access to a large lake within the grounds nearby. A charge of £25.00 per stay or per week, whichever is shorter, will be made for each dog (guide dogs for the blind and registered assistance dogs excepted). Please let us know if you will be bringing a dog with you. This property will accept a maximum of one dog. The picturesque village of Barns Green is only a mile away with its local pub and village store. A short drive away you will quickly reach the South Downs and local gardens and houses such as Parham House, Petworth House, and Leonardslee Gardens are all within easy reach.
