Beautiful Lake Tahoe views are visible from this 2 story end unit condo. Located on a bluff just outside of Tahoe City, this recently remodeled, spacious, condo has sleek modern touches blended with timeless mountain decor. Enjoy easy, level access from the well maintained HOA parking area.
Skiers and snowboarders will love this central location; just a 15 - 20 min drive to Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley, and 25 - 40 min drive to Northstar, Diamond Peak, and Mt Rose. Lake Tahoe’s 10 alpine ski areas are all within an hour’s drive of Rocky Ridge.
The summertime adventures at Rocky Ridge abound, with upper HOA amenities of 2 pools, tennis and bocce courts, and a kids’ playground. Running, hiking, and mt. biking enthusiasts will have access to hundreds of miles of logging and singletrack trails via Burton Creek State Park, adjacent to the Rocky Ridge. For the beach lovers in the group, drive, walk, hike or bike half a mile into town to the private beach and clubhouse.
Winter backwoods adventures on trails are also a favorite for the snowshoeing and cross country skiing crowd. Tahoe City Cross Country Center’s groomed trail system is accessible directly from Rocky Ridge via Burton Creek State Park trails.
The remodeled kitchen is equipped with all new Bosch appliances: a gas range w/ warming drawer, side by side refrigerator, drip coffee maker, coffee grinder, electric kettle and large toaster. Well equipped for cooking, this condo is perfect for a quick breakfast before hitting the slopes or a homemade meal and cozy night in. The dining table has seating for 6 and an additional 2 seats can be found at the kitchen counter and overflow guests can dine at the large couch and coffee table.
The kitchen, living room, main bedroom and bathroom are on the 2nd floor. The living room is comfortably furnished with a Smart TV with cable (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video, etc.), wood-burning fireplace (firewood is not provided), and access to the 2nd floor balcony. There is a gas BBQ grill and patio dining table out on the deck. Have your morning coffee on the deck or enjoy outdoor dining in the crisp mountain air with serene Lake Tahoe views.
The main bedroom is located upstairs and has a King bed, cable TV, and en suite bathroom. The remaining 2 bedrooms are downstairs. The 2nd bedroom has a California King bed. The 3rd bedroom is great for kids and has a Queen Murphy Bed, a Twin over Full bunk bed, TV, and a DVD player. There is a shared 2nd bathroom with his and hers sinks, a 3rd sink in the bathroom/shower area, a washer/dryer, and an ironing board all on the 1st floor.

Summary: First of all, the location is perfection. I feel it's extremely important to note this... However not sure the owners have been here in a LONG time! There are cobwebs everywhere. The master bathroom upstairs was dirty. I let the property management know we didn't have towels to accommodate 8 people, nor did we have batteries to the remotes, and the blow dryer in the master upstairs was broken. They said they'd address Monday (Saturday arrival) and never got back to us. Why offer texting to provide feedback if they aren't going to follow through? Pools were closed most of our duration. Hard when you're expecting this with kids. House was dirty and unswept when we arrived. I'm sad we spent all this money and paid a cleaning fee for VBRO when it wasn't applied to the property. Highly recommend the owners paying a visit to the property soon.
