You will be amazed at the quality and luxury of this condo. Every little detail has been though of....the Hawaiian artwork is one of a kind. Book now and relax on a lounge chair on the lanai or at the. water's edge while reading a book or watching the turtles right in front of you, the whales in the winter...or just take a snooze! The view from the lanai is the gem of the condo. There is only one word to describe it--OUTSTANDING! Watch the sailboats, snorkelers, surfers and swimmers put on a show right in front of your eyes.
In fact the only thing between you and the water is the warm air! There are no streets to cross, no 'peek-a-boo' views -- you are direct oceanfront. The blue ocean is just steps away and the soothing sound of the waves breaking on the shore right in front of you.
You will fall in love with the view from the lanai - watching the bright, warm sun rising over Haleakala volcano each morning and be mesmerized by the view, while you sip coffee and read the morning paper.
And if you get too warm, step inside and turn on the air conditioning system that has separate units in the living room AND bedroom.
This one bedroom-one bath condo, with a pull out couch for additional sleeping, is located in the ever popular Milowai condo complex. Come enjoy that warm Hawaiian sun, the trade winds blowing and the ocean right in front of you.
There are ceramic floors, and local artwork.
The pull out couch bed had an extra thick mattress. The kitchen has white cabinets, stainless steel appliances and a stainless steel refrigerator with ice maker and running water on the door. All you can want in dishware, silverware, cookware, toaster, coffee pot (2 kinds, traditional and Kerig), and a coffee grinder.
The bedroom has mirrored closet doors and white louvered shutters on the windows. These shutters allow you to open the top for a great breeze that is always present in Ma'alaea while giving you the maximum amount of privacy. There is a screen door on the front door and the main front door has an adjustable door stop so you can open it with various degrees of openness.
There are two ceiling fans, one in the bedroom and the other in the living room.
The king size bed features a comfortable mattress and you'll sleep on our 400 thread-count linens. There is a mountain view of the West Maui Mountains from the bedroom.
In the winter you will be entertained by the humpback whales from the lanai and if you really want to get up close with the whales, walk the one block to the harbor and board a whale watching boat. And of course binoculars are included in the condo!
On the walk back visit the a few of the award winning restaurants for a snack or full course lunch or dinner.
There's a small kiddie beach in front of the condo complex, at the end of our dead-end street is a five-mile white sandy beach, a short walk....maybe 10 minutes.
On the beach you can choose to sit in the warm inviting sunshine, or under one of the broad, wide shade trees. There's never a crowd here, just the friendliest people you can imagine. You can even arrange to have a massage right in the condo!
The Ocean Center (Aquarium) is located one block away and there's a mini-golf course, rock climbing wall and plenty of shops for you to spend some time. There's a convenience store located there for some quick pick ups of food. Larger stores are just 15 minutes away.
The owner Jim Zarley has made this condo, your home away from home the most comfortable and luxurious place to stay. There's even on-demand hot water!
No Smoking (and that includes the lanai) or pets, please.
