We would love nothing more than to welcome you to our beautiful home away from home in the center of the beautiful Niagara Region. Our home "The River Retreat" in the quaint city of Welland, is centrally located; minutes walk to the downtown shops and restaurants and within 30 minutes of beaches, wineries and the world famous Niagara Falls. Gather with your loved ones and cozy up by the fireplace. Whether it's adventure, relaxation or business that calls you, we will be happy to host you. Our kitchen is equipped with full size appliances and all basic kitchenware including a coffee maker with filters, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and kettle. No need to bring plates, glasses or utensils, we have it all. Living room is equipped with a Smart TV with Roku and Netflix. Note that you do need your own accounts for streaming apps like Netflix, Crave, Disney, etc. although there are other free TV apps available. Onsite washer and dryer are available for your use. _______________________________________________________ We are located a 5 minute walk from downtown Welland with many boutique shops and eateries. Welland is known for it's annual Floatfest! Bring your own floaty or raft and float down the Welland Canal. This free event takes place in July. Our property is truly in the center of it all. Explore all that the region has to offer, all within a 30 minute drive. Looking for a beach day? We have many beaches to choose from. - Crystal Beach, Nickel Beach and Long Beach are all along Lake Erie - Port Dalhouise and Sunset Beach are in St. Catharines on Lake Ontario Enjoy volleyball, horseback riding, boating, paddle boarding, jet skiing, rowing and much more. Prefer to spend your getaway sipping on wine? Enjoy Niagara's award winning wineries. Take a wine tour and visit the historic old town of Niagara-On-The-Lake.
