Riverside Retreat is a haven for couples and families to enjoy a peaceful and secluded setting while having the river with beautiful rock formations right out your back door. Enjoy relaxing or eating on the screened in porch overlooking the river.
Besides enjoying the amenities and comfort of our well appointed cabin, guests can enjoy canoeing, fishing, grilling, roasting over the fire pit, melting away stress in the 2 person Jacuzzi jetted tub, and relaxing and enjoying nature.
The cabin sits on a bluff right on the Mountain Fork River with direct access to the river.
A 2 person canoe, life jackets, and paddles are provided complimentary for your use. You can paddle approximately 1 mile up river and ½ mile down river with lots of fishing spots and also fish from the bank off of the rock formations in front of the cabin. Fish most often caught are perch, goggle-eye, and bream. You can also catch bass, catfish, and occasionally crappie.
