The Riverlodge is a 9 Bedroom lodge with 1 queen bed in each room. This lodge is situated within The Mayan Garden retreat center on the edge of The New River. This is a family-run retreat center since 1867. It is perfect for large groups, events, or retreats looking for a private and exclusive setting. The facility is situated in the middle of the jungle garden with paved paths leading to and from each facilities. The New River runs through the property and makes for a scenic view just in front of the River Lodge. The River is about 1 45 min boat ride to the nearest awe-inspiring Mayan Ruins, Called Lamanai.
Within the River lodge, you will find the dinning and lounge space on the first floor and rooms on the second floor. The River lodge has a total of 9 rooms (1 queen bed per room) with private lavatory and toilet with a shared assigned shower room.
Amenities included on the estate are the indoor lap pool, hot tub, sauna, kayaks, yoga studio, gym fitness center, large dinning and lounge space, conference room and much more! The location is ideal if you are looking to take a trip to the Lamanai Mayan Ruins, as it is an easy boat ride off the river to the archeological site. We also offer complimentary housekeeping once during your stay. Airport transport and other activities/tours can be arranged for an additional cost.
Due to the location of The Mayan Garden being in rural location, some distance from any restaurants, your Reservation with the Mayan Garden requires the purchase our chef-prepared meal plans. These meal plans are economically and competitively priced for the area or Orange Walk and once your reservation is complete, a booking link for your meal plan can be purchased at a later time with your booking manager.
