Summary: This was such a wonderful home for our long weekend away! We wanted a place where my husband and son could fish from the backyard, and this fit the bill. The rest of us loved the views of the river. It was so relaxing to see the running water from our bedroom, the living room, or the porches! It was a very comfortable set up. We had my two year old son, me and my husband, and our parents (including one with mobility issues). Everyone had their own comfortable space as well as comfortable gathering spots for us to be together! The hosts have put in a lot of attention to small details that make a difference. Having a toddler in tow, it was so nice that they had a pack n play, high chair, and even toddler/kid utensils and dinnerware stocked! The coffee bar was enjoyed every morning, and they have everything we needed for cooking our meals at home, plus lots of extra treats like wine and a snack basket. They even had extra ponytail ties in the master bath--so thoughtful! The location was convenient to town, and our crew enjoyed the hot tub and the tubes they provided. We drove upstream a couple miles, put our tubes in at the Cartecay Canoe Launch, and were able to float right to our backyard and get out there! We would definitely rent this home again and recommend it to others.
