Welcome to the Bancroft Riverhaus✨
Located on the historic York River and nestled within the Canadian Shield, ten minutes from Bancroft and approximately two and a half to three hours from Toronto or Ottawa.
The Riverhaus is perfect for mature adults or a single family, up to six (6) people.

As a multi-property and experienced host, we strive to provide guests with the utmost vacation home experience including use of all household items, appliances, and amenities: kitchen supplies, towels, linens and bedding are all provided. The Riverhaus comes modern, luxurious and fully stocked.
Offering a spacious and single level open concept floor plan, perfect for a single family or up to six (6) mature adults. There are three bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms. The spacious primary bedroom has a Queen sized bed and an en-suite powder room. The other two bedrooms have a Double bed, and two Single Day Beds. The main washroom offers guests a spacious glass shower and a dual his/hers vanity.
The cozy living room has a remote controlled propane fireplace and a TV entertainment area with a 5.1 surround/Bluetooth sound system, with an Apple TV 4K.
The kitchen offers an island that can double as a bar, with a beer/wine mini fridge located thoughtfully underneath. This focal point of the open concept floor plan ensures that everyone is within view of the party. The dining area features a six person dining table.
There are two TVs, one in the primary bedroom, and one in the living room. Guests may enjoy streaming live TV, or use our streaming services, (with some content in ultra HD 4K) including:

Outside of the property encompasses a beautiful forested area with a pathway to the river as well as a cleared lawn, which features a fire pit and Muskoka chairs.
There are three decks total: a covered front entrance deck, a rear deck with seating and a flagship Napolean propane BBQ, and a third riverfront platform deck offering guests a space to unwind and enjoy perfect views of the York River while enjoying your morning coffee.
Guests have easy access to the water via a cleared ramp to access the river should they wish to go for a swim or use any of the provided water toys: including kayaks, canoes or paddle boards.
For recreation, (seasonal) there are a couple of bicycles, lawn games, and a slew board games and drinking games.
The Riverhaus is pet-friendly- we ask guests to inform us if bringing their dog and to ensure that they are clean, well-behaved and house trained. Guests are responsible to clean up after their dog anywhere on the property.
