Riverside vacation rentals are a high priority for many of our guests, especially those seeking the perfect family getaway. You can cool off, expend extra energy, and relax on and alongside its waters. That's why we're proud to present the kid friendly River Bluff Retreat to our visitors! It has over 400 feet of private access to the Medina River in a quiet country setting, yet it's also close to the shops, cuisine, and restaurants of Pipe Creek, Bandera, and Boerne. Everybody wins!
The River Bluff Retreat rests on ten scenic acres and the Media River runs through the back of the property. Its river access is about five acres behind the vacation home, over cleared paths on easy-to-hike terrain. If you'd like to drive to the water, UTVs and small, lightweight 4 wheel drive vehicles such as Jeeps are allowed, but no cars, trucks or ATVs. For your well-being and ours, a signed liability release is required for your stay; we want our guests to enjoy the river, with safety as a priority! Check when booking about water levels; they can vary by season and rainfall. There's a large shade canopy and coolers available for river use; just ask if you'd like these options!
The front of the property is fenced in, providing additional safety for children. There are covered and uncovered sections on the spacious patio, which is adorned with comfortable outdoor furniture. String lights along the patio railing add a nice sparkle to your evenings here, and you can whip up a hearty BBQ on the charcoal grill, too!
Plush, relaxing furniture fills the living area, which faces a Roku-equipped smart TV (can't agree on what to watch? There's another in the master bedroom). Central air, heat, and ceiling fans keep you comfy, and fiber optic internet with Wifi and a dedicated work area keep you connected. For entertainment, there are DVDs, books, and board games on hand! The two dining areas include seating for 10 guests, plus bar-style seating, all located close to the full kitchen. All the appliances, counter space, and cooking and serving ware you'll need makes mealtimes a pleasure!
Sleeping space includes a master and three secondary bedrooms, with a king-sized bed in the master, queens in the second and third, and two singles in the fourth; add in a queen-sized sofa sleeper, and there's sleep space for up to ten. A walk-in closet in the hallway is stocked with a tent, blankets, cornhole game, and riverside chairs for your use. The master bath has a garden tub and shower; the shared hall bath has a shower/tub combo; and clean bed and bath linens are provided. There's also a convenient washer and dryer!
