"Rhapsody Lodge" is an outstanding mountain home (with WiFi & 3 DVRs) in a great location, half-way between Incline Village and Tahoe City, near recreational facilities and rental equipment in Tahoe Vista as well as Kings Beach. Nestled into a lovely alpine neighborhood, the large property is just 2 blocks above the lake with a sandy, shallow beach and small boat launch & kayak rentals in the summer. Six major ski resorts are within 15-25 minutes. Close to many good restaurants, Old Brockway golf course, and a large Safeway supermarket. North Tahoe Regional Park is several blocks away with 5 miles of hiking, public tennis courts, groomed cross-country ski trail and a sledding hill in the winter. Huge old growth cedars and pines are just up the trail from Rhapsody Lodge. Flat access to house in winter; no hills! Snow removal provided. Less than ten minutes to CalNeva, Crystal Bay & Tahoe Biltmore casinos. Driveway and garage are easy access from street. The house is beautifully maintained and appointed with all the comforts of home. Upstairs are 2 queen bedrooms and 1 large bathroom with a shower and Jacuzzi bathtub. NEW HOT TUB for 3 is also downstairs on the back deck. Downstairs are 2 queen bedrooms and large family bathroom. Semi-private room with full-bed and powder room is also on the first floor. Laundry room is adjacent to the cheery, spacious, fully equipped kitchen. Dining Table will handle up to ten guests. Living room has 46' flat screen TV (with DVR) and BluRay DVD player. Three other TVs in house, some with DVR, DVD players, along with iPod docks. Special TV alcove for kids or young adults upstairs! All bed linens and towels are provided. The 2-car garage is available, along with driveway, for your cars and small equipment. In the summer, the gazebo is comfortable to watch birds and squirrels, read or just enjoy a beverage. Fenced yard is great for kids and parties, with gas barbecue, umbrella tables, deck and the newly-installed, professionally-maintained 3-person Hot Tub. Beautiful new gas-log fireplace in Living Room is operated by remote control, providing mountain ambiance and warmth that adds to the home's forced air heating. Sorry, no wood to chop, haul & burn!
