Welcome to MountainBlue, a one-of-a-kind home that combines the awe-inspiring elements of the ocean, space, and travel. Nestled in the picturesque Poconos, this enchanting retreat promises an unforgettable experience that we hope will transport you to new realms of wonder and relaxation.
The space
MountainBlue has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an expansive backyard area. All the rooms have a Roku TV and smart bulbs! The parking lot can fit up to three cars and you are welcome to enjoy the community’s courts, and lakes!
Indoors
In the main living area, there is a game table that has pool, air hockey, ping-pong, and mini football. The pullout couch comfortably sleeps two people. The dining table fits six people, and the kitchen is equipped with any and all utensils you may need. This is also where you’ll find the laundry and accompanying tide pods.
On the first floor, you will find our travel-themed room. The travel room has a king-sized bed and closet. You can change the lights up using commands like, “Alexa, turn travel blue”. We would love it if you would like to add on to our map on the wall. Take a push pin from the little box on the wall and mark where in the world you’ve gone. Look at the pins already on the map to see where guests before you have traveled!
Up the stairs on the second floor, you’ll find two rooms and another bathroom.
The space-themed room is equipped with a bunk bed and a moon mirror. Light up the room with a moon lamp that changes colors or with a starry lamp that changes colors with commands like, “Alexa change space to purple.” You can also enjoy the room in the dark by looking up to see stars that give the room a whimsical feel.
Lastly, you will find the ocean-themed room with jellyfish and seashells galore we hope to give you an elevated ocean-inspired stay. This room is also equipped with an office table, monitor, and keyboard/mouse set-up because we know sometimes work follows us on vacation. In the ocean room closet, you can find baby gates and a baby feeding chair if you have any mini guests with you! The ocean room has a king bed and a view of the backyard and a door leading to the upstairs bathroom. Change the lamps up in the ocean room with commands like, “Alexa turn ocean blue”.
Outdoors
We hope you get the opportunity to relax in our backyard. The large deck has a swing for relaxation and a picnic table to share meals you can make on our grill. You can also choose to hang out under the pergola for relaxation under the shade. Later in the night, you can choose to hang out around our firepit for smores and to trade stories. Don’t forget to take advantage of our photo ops by swinging in our crochet swing surrounded by mushrooms or behind our floral ring with a background of trees or by swinging in the hammock. There is also a green empty area if you’d like to play badminton or perhaps take advantage of our snowball makers (stashed in the cabinet under the television) in the winter!
Other things to note
Property is located in gated community. Once you complete your booking I will request guest pass for you for each car. please collect it at Welcome center. You need to show gate pass to enter the community. There is Basketball court, tennis court and more. Pool and lake is availableonly for owners and guests. guest have to purchase tickets for pool and lake.
