Welcome to Clark St. Harmony House, a 100 year-old coach house located about 8 blocks from Lake Michigan in Rogers Park, Chicago. Conveniently placed between two great universities, Northwestern and Loyola. Also between the Metra train (express to downtown) and the “EL” local stops all the way downtown, Harmony House is the definition of “location, location, location!”
This newly renovated coach house offers three bedrooms and three bathrooms, a cute kitchen, dining and living rooms. Each level has a full bath.
Harmony house also offers two car attached garage parking, and a large private fenced yard with patio furniture, fire pit, and lawn games.
This is a very walkable location, with restaurants and fully stocked mini-mart on the corner, grocery store down the street, and bike rentals nearby. About a mile north is the lovely city of Evanston with great shopping and restaurants, and the same to the south with the awesome neighborhood of Andersonville, as well as home to the Chicago Cubs, Wrigley Field, a few EL stops away. The whole city is at your fingertips here- come and enjoy your stay!

Summary: It’s a clean and updated place with a very responsive and caring owner. The location is off a main urban street with parking in the alley around the back. The original listing (which has been updated based on feedback) did not give us an accurate sense of the layout so we had a tough time figuring out sleeping with 2 adult couples and 2 kids even though the listing had it sleeps 12. There is a lot of bedding upstairs but you need to walk through one bedroom to access the other bedroom while only one bedroom had an AC unit. The first floor bedroom is a bunk room and not great for an adult couple but fine for kids. The lowest level has a good full bathroom but not a good sleeping option. Would probably be best for groups that need the location and don’t mind less privacy in the main sleeping area upstairs
