Located in Fawnskin, the Northshore area of Big Bear Lake, this two-story, vaulted-ceiling home features a loft space, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. It's conveniently located just 15 minutes away from the Village, the lake, ski resorts, hiking trails, golf courses, the zoo, shopping centers, and more!
Step onto the enclosed deck and enter this freshly painted, bright space. To your right, you'll find a spacious living room with a fireplace, while to your left, there's a chef's kitchen with an island and three barstools. Adjacent to the kitchen, a dining area features a large rustic table for six. Continuing through the kitchen, you'll discover access to the fully enclosed backyard. On the left is the laundry area, complete with a new washer and dryer, and to the right is a full bathroom that connects to the first-floor bedroom with bunk beds.
Heading to the second floor, you'll ascend to a loft space furnished with a queen-sized sleeper futon and a card game table. Right next to it is the primary bedroom, complete with a balcony and an adjoining full-sized bathroom.
For sleeping in total, there are five beds, including a full-sized bunk bed with a twin-sized trundle pull-out on the first floor, a queen-sized futon in the loft space, and a king-sized bed in the primary bedroom on the second floor.

Summary: A beautiful, cozy home! It's as if Chip and Joanna Gaines polished an 80's fixer-upper in quaint Fawnskin. The newly renovated interior is modern in a blended way with pieces from different decades all contributing to a light, uncluttered feel. The stainless steel appliances make the roomy kitchen a pleasure to cook in. The Nest thermostat keeps the place toasty and comfortable. Both bathrooms are beautifully laid out with a deep soaker tub downstairs. Because it was cold, we didn't use the porch that includes a grill and gas fire pit. The place is situated a five minute walk from the general store and a fun boutique, Grout Creek Outfitters. Fawnskin is very quiet but just a 10 minute drive from hiking trails, the Big Bear Discovery Center, and Juniper Point, one of the better fishing spots on the lake. Big Bear Village is just 10-15 minute away. The hosts were super responsive with any questions we had, and made sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. We loved our time there over the Thanksgiving holiday — and would go back in a second.
