1 Bedroom Condo in Myrtle Beach

Welcome to the Monterey Bay Resort. This condo is on the 12th floor with beautiful ocean front views. The bedroom is not the the front when you first walk in, not it is in the back where you can enjoy the views of the ocean in bed. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa and a pull out chair that slides out for a single bed (great for a child). In the bedroom is the king bed with a full size murphy bed. The resort has family friendly amenities including pools, hot tubs and lazy rivers.
The living room does have a queen sleeper sofa and a slid out chair which is about the same size as a twin.
In the bedroom is a king bed along with a Murphy bed, which is a full size bed hidden in the wall of the room.
The kitchen does have the basic set of pots, pans, silverware, plate ware and glassware. There is a Keurig coffee maker.
So enjoy the indoor/outdoor pools, lazy rivers hot tubs, playground, sun deck and of course the beach. The resort does provide pool towels, please do not bring them to the beach. Remember to pack your own beach towels or grab some at one of the local beach stores.
Monterey Bay does provide you with 1 parking pass. Additional city parking is available outside the resort for $10 per 24 hrs (subject to change). The parking garage is tight and the first floor does have a taller ceiling for the taller vehicles, however, spaces are limited.
You will be provided with 7 sets of towels and linens for all of the beds. We DO NOT provide a daily towel exchange or daily clean. There is a laundry facility in the resort.
We do provide a starter pack so you don't have to rush out to the store right away and provide: 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels, small soaps, trash can liner for each trash can.
You have access to everything that Monterey Bay have to offer except their breakfast area.

Summary: I’ll start by saying the property manager was super nice and very quick to respond. The room was nice but really could have used a good makeover. We did have to ask for a new comforter as ours was dirty and they were very quick to have a new one to us right away. The overall property is kind of dirty, elevators took a long time to get to you. Since we booked through vrbo we could not eat the breakfast provided by the resort. Overall decent place to stay for a quick getaway but not for a long time.
