Alfaz town center is a five minute drive from the villa. Everything you might need for your holiday, is available. Altea is rightfully known as 'A Jewel in the Valencia Region'. This picturesque town looks out over the sea across one of the most delightful bays on the Mediterranean. Overflowing with history, over the centuries Altea has welcomed (or been conquered by) Iberians, Romans, Moors and Christians, all of whom have contributed to the special culture of these coastal lands. The Old Town, with a walk through the cobbled streets and fits the designer boutiques and craft shops up to the 'Domed Church' plaza at the top, should be on everyone's itinerary. In the Plaza the cultural and leisure center of Atea is the magnificent Church of the Virgen del Consuelo (Our Lady of Solace). Altea's peacefulness and tranquility have made it a paradise for artists and craftsmen.
The thriving tourist metropolis of Benidorm is only a short fifteen to twenty minutes drive from the villa -with the four great theme parks, Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, Aqualandia and Mundomar, being ideal for keeping the family content.
