Renovations continued this year to ensure our guests have a Reel Good Time with; new furniture, new countertops, new flooring, new A/C, new mattresses, updated internet and big screen TV, and we repainted the interior, and had new windows and door installed in living room. The beach house is ready for you! Come watch beautiful sunrises and awe inspiring sunsets, view star filled dark skies from our balcony overlooking St. George Sound and Dog Island. 18 steps takes you to the beach. Take the kids and dogs for a 3 mile walk along a continuous private access beach. Only 10 minutes from Carrabelle to the East and Eastpoint to the West and 20 Minutes from Apalachicola and St. George Island, you are centrally located to great food, great local breweries and memorable activities. The freshest seafood you will ever eat is here. Oyster houses, seafood markets and crazy good BBQ are minutes away. Fur Babies are welcomed in many dining and retail establishments and on most beaches! Surf fishing from this property is popular with the kids and adults, as is netting blue crabs, in season. You can charter a boat for 1/2 day or full day of bay or deep sea fishing or to tour barrier islands. Visit Carrabelle beach, and the WWII Museum to learn how this area was used to train our troops for Normandy. Apalachicola has many antique shops, restaurants, and timeless historic homes as it was a major US Customs port in the past. Tate's Hell State Wildlife Area Forest is across the street from our home with nature trails to enjoy with splendid bird watching. Shelling is always fun on St. George island. You can also simply stay home, watch the dolphins and the waves or do absolutely nothing (our preferred activity!).
