Red Wing Lodge is a fishing and hunting resort located in Sabaskong Bay, on Lake of the Woods in Morson, Ontario Canada. We have clean, comfortable cottages with access to the ultimate fresh water lake in the world! If you are looking for World Class Muskie fishing, look no further! We also have great Walleye, Northern Pike, Small Mouth Bass, Crappie and Perch fishing close to the lodge. The structure in our area of the lake is second to none and that is why most of our customers return, year after year. Red Wing Lodge was homesteaded in 1964, by Ken, Betty, and Mike Bartlett. Today Mike and his wife Anne, along with their children Matthew, Molly, and Kate Bartlett carry on the family tradition of personal service. We take pride in our friendly service, clean cottages and the comfort of our guests. We will strive to make your stay a pleasant one. We have eleven cottages, so the atmosphere is more personal than a large resort. When you arrive we will sit down with you and go over the map of our area. We’ll point out where the fish are biting and how to get there. You won’t have to travel far from camp to get to great fishing. There is an excellent map of our area so guides are optional. Lake of the Woods is a beautiful and unique lake. With 65,000 miles of shoreline and 14,000 charted islands (more than any lake on the North American continent). Lake of the Woods offers excellent fishing, hunting and sightseeing. The muskie fishing is terrific! The winner of this tournament chooses the location and host resort for the following year. Red Wing Lodge has been picked as the headquarters of this tournament by various chapters of Muskie Inc. At the resort you will find full service fuel on the dock, bait including minnows and leeches. The resort has a 75KW back up generator for the occasional time the power is not operational. This streamlines your vacation experience to allow normal day to day operations to continue without any issue.
