This cottage is a new Reno of a Muskoka classic. It is only five minutes to Port Carling.
PROPERTY
WINTERBOURNE, with its original lakeside porch, is the location to enjoy your morning coffee, wind down in the late afternoon with a drink or enjoy the sun setting over the water. There is a walkout from the Muskoka porch to stairs leading down to the dock, passing by a beautiful fire pit area with separate seating. As you enter the property you are greeted by a parking area for guests. The Bunkie is on the same level. You continue to drive your car down to the front door of the cottage. It has been recently equipped with a beautiful carport. The property is well treed. An excellent opportunity to observe wildlife such a deer and wild turkey.
INTERIOR
Newly renovated cottage! The new white kitchen and bathrooms showcase a clean and sleek design. Very comfortable reclining chairs make the great room most inviting for conversation and TV enjoyment. The dining table seats eight on the main floor. The main floor also has the master bedroom with a 3-piece ensuite. Behind the TV area, there is another seating area and a desk. The house is wired with high-speed Internet and satellite TV. The second floor has three bedrooms containing queen size beds and there is a new bathroom with a modern glass shower. There is an outdoor deck off the second-floor bedrooms providing a quiet getaway space to enjoy the outdoors. The Bunkie has a king-size bed and ensuite. There is also a kitchenette with a dining table for six There is a seating area with a fireplace, a game table, and a separate powder room. This area provides beautiful views of the lake. There are three TVs throughout the complex. It is equipped with two fireplaces and a washer-dryer. It also has a large deck with seating, an umbrella, and a barbecue. This separate area provides privacy and comfort for in-laws or grandparents while the family is in the main cottage. The recently built boathouse is waterless providing large open areas for children to play safely ping pong and other indoor activities. It is equipped with television and internet. Fishing equipment, a kayak, and three paddleboards are available for use.
