We're so excited to welcome you to the stunning Lake of the Prairies, Manitoba. This cabin is designed by renowned Canadian architect David Penner and featured on the cover of Cottager Magazine as well as IKEA global marketing . We are a 10 minute drive from Asessippi Ski Resort, and with being right on the lake there are many things to do all year long.
The Space:
With 1,100 square feet of space, our cabin has a bright, modern, open concept layout with a large living, dining and kitchen area. Amazing lake views, new stainless appliances, and designer furnishings, making for a truly unique stay!
Your feet will thank you as you enjoy the in-floor heated hardwoods. Kick back and enjoy the views through the floor to ceiling windows. Cozy up on the EQ3 sectional in front of the woodstove and live your best life. Whether
that's a glass of wine, a board game, or a favourite movie—this place is made for relaxing and reconnecting. No need to wait in line for the bathroom as there are two, each with a shower. Relive childhood slumber parties with the double over double bunkbeds or create new memories with your own kids. The yard slopes gently down to the lake where you can ice fish, snow shoe or hike.
The Neighborhood:
This is a very quiet lakefront development located 15 minutes from Asessippi, one of the premier ski hills on the prairies. Lake of the Prairies is one of the best year-round fishing lakes in the region. The cabin is also located close to several golf courses and is 15 minutes from Roblin, the closest town.
Other Things to Note:
Lake of The Prairies is right in our backyard. We do not have a boat launch on our property, or beach access right off the backyard. There is boat access if you keep going straight before you turn on to the street our cabin is on.
Firearms of any kind are not allowed in the house or on the property. This includes but is not limited to pellet guns, air guns, rifles and shotguns.
We are so happy to share our space with guests who are looking to use it as a retreat to reconnect with family and friends, but please note that this is not a party rental.
