Welcome to The Quint Farmhouse
Quint stands for quintessential, known as the 5th Element, quintessential came to stand for anything so perfect that it seemed to surpass the limitations of earth. Today we generally use quintessential openly to describe just about anything that represents the best of its kind.
Welcome to our farmhouse built in 1808. When designing Quint for all to enjoy, we took into consideration the gathering spaces in this turn of the century estate. You will find multiple nooks throughout the home that are perfect for small intimate coffee breaks by the fireplace, an eloquent reading room, which is also a perfect private work space or an evening cocktail. The living room and dining room have been intentionally set to encourage large gatherings to create memories with family, celebrate special occasions, and encourage a work play environment ideal for a business retreat.
-The kitchen is complete with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, a french press coffee maker, traditional coffee maker, tea kettle, dishwasher, a double oven with electric range, microwave, toaster, toaster over, and of course a popcorn machine! Coffee, Tea, Sugars, and Creamers are on hand for you to enjoy. The kitchen can seat 13 guests, with 6 chairs at one table, 4 chairs at a high top table, and 3 bar stools.
You will find plenty of cabinet space and a large french door refrigerator and freezer for your groceries. Plates and drink ware are available in glass, re-useable and disposable forms. Cleaning supplies are located under the kitchen sink.
-There is a washer machine and dryer in the home, equipped with detergent and fabric softener. Backup linens and towels are available in the laundry room closet. A half bath is conveniently located on the first floor for guests ease.
-The living room includes a sleeper queen sofa with all needed linens located in the laundry room closet. The large living room has a Roku TV, plenty of seating and direct access to the sprawling backyard with views of 7 serene acres and a glistening pool.
-When you reach the second floor you will find 4 bedrooms. The primary bedroom hosts a king bed, with a dresser, a sitting space, a beautiful window bench, a ceiling fan, and a large closet. Attached to the primary bedroom is a cozy bedroom with a full bed that can sleep 2. Both bedrooms share the ensuite bathroom that is equipped with double sinks and a tub.
Bedrooms 2,3, & 4 each have a queen bed, ceiling fans, closets/dressers, and tv's.
-The shared (between bedrooms 2-4) full bathroom, has been beautifully updated with a modern farmhouse feel and has a large shower.
-Wifi is on site and complimentary, you will be provided the access code prior to arrival.
-All bedrooms equipped with Roku tv's
-All bathrooms provide towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and a hair dryer.
-Exterior:
The front porch has a covered patio to sir and enjoy afternoon lemonade after exploring the lavish land.
There is a barn onsite as well as a very large 9 car garage.
We look forward to creating an amazing special event venue at the barn to encourage even more memories and special occasions (stay tuned for that exciting news in the future).
The jaw dropping backyard is ready to host your pool parties from April through October (yes the pool is heated). You will find an immaculate pool (that is not gated, please read pool rules under the policies tab) with a diving board and slide. Outdoor furniture will be out to meet the needs of your friends and family. An outdoor kitchen, with cabana, and stone smokehouse where you can finally impress the guests with your grilling skills. A large play space for children including a swing set, slide and graveled play area (please see policies for play space rules). You will find a hammock nestled between two trees not far from the pool and a gorgeous stream that is perfect for rock skipping. This historic land will entice your curiosities of the beauty that mother nature has brought to life.
-Parking, there are two large parking pads at the end of the long driveway. There is plenty of parking for all.
-Access details, will be sent to you via the Airbnb messaging platform right before arrival.
-Wildlife, we are located in pure serenity in the country, wildlife will be present to enjoy.
-Early check-in (anytime before 4pm) and late check-out (anytime after 10am) will incur an additional $35/hour fee. Please note: all requests for early check-in and late check-outs must be brought forth via the Airbnb messaging system and approved by our team. Otherwise, our 4pm check-in time and 10am check-out time stands.
**We take cleanliness very seriously and ask that you take your shoes off while in the home.**
