Colibrí casita, means hummingbird house. The casita is located in the jungle, in the mountains above Dominical and Hatillo. We are 10-12 minutes from the heart of Dominical. This is a private, gated property which includes our main house, the casita, and our caretaker's house. Every day you can see abundant wildlife all around the property. There are mountain roads for exploring. You can hear the sound of the ocean, though the casita is near, there is no ocean view from the house, just pure jungle. A short distance away is one of the most beautiful beaches in the area, Playa Linda.
4x4 vehicle is necessary for these mountain roads. All wheel or 2 wheel vehicles will not make it up our mountain road to the house.

This 1 Bedroom House provides accommodation with Guest Services, Barbecue/Outdoor Cooking, Internet, for your convenience. This House features many amenities for guests who want to stay for a few days, a weekend or probably a longer vacation with family, friends or group. Summary: I had an excellent stay at the Colibrí Jungle House. The property is managed by incredibly kind and welcoming hosts. They picked me up from the main road and guided me through the “jungle” to the apartment. The vacation home is perfectly nestled among tall trees and palms, offering a true nature escape.The house has many highlights. One of the highlights was the (almost) open-air shower under the palms—a unique and refreshing experience. I also enjoyed pleasant evenings with the hosts, who made my stay even more memorable. And to top it all off, I even spotted toucans during my stay, which was absolutely magical!I highly recommend this vacation home and would gladly return anytime!
