If you are looking for a traditional Kiwi bach to stay in without all the mod-cons, then this is the place for you. This Gem is tucked away down the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, everything you need to relax on your holiday is on your doorstep!
Whether you are wanting to eat alfresco on the deck with the bbq fired up, or at Piper's Cafe which is a 2 minute drive away or Omara's restaurant which is a 5 minute drive away or a leisurely stroll through the walkways into town.
The sandy shores of Matarangi Beach is across the cul-de-sac and through a walkway if you are wanting to relax in the sun and read a book or go for a refreshing swim. The beach is ideal for swimming, walking/running along or digging/exploring the rock pools with your kids.
Our Bach has a large flat lawn for parking that boat on, or letting the kids run around to burn off some energy with a backyard game of cricket!
Our Bach is beside the walking track from Matarangi to Kuaotunu, or if you prefer tennis the tennis courts and a kids playground only a short 2 minute walk away.
Lukes Kitchen has yummy Pizzas and is situated in Kuaotunu which is a short 10 minute drive over the hill towards Whitianga. This is a must do attraction! To Whitianga is another 10 minute drive past Kuaotunu. In the other direction there is New Chums Beach which is one of the Top 10 in New Zealand. A little further along and you will end up in Coromandel township.
