Enjoy the best of all worlds in this spacious and bright vacation rental home overlooking Rockport's stunningly picturesque Flat Ledge Quarry. Not only can you walk to town or to the beach in a few minutes, but you can also swim at the nearby quarry, Little Parker's Pit. This is a sparkling fresh water quarry just a stone's throw from the house. Swim at the beach in the morning and at the quarry in the afternoon, followed by dinner and a concert in downtown Rockport. 1967 Sq. Ft. No pets. No smoking. GROUND FLOOR Living Room: The spacious upper living room with lots of comfortable seating and large windows to relax and enjoy vista views of Sandy Bay. Kitchen: The fully-equipped kitchen is roomy and bright and has a gas stove. Dining Room: There is easy access from the kitchen to the large, open and sunny dining room that overlooks the slate back patio. The one-of-a-kind dining table was made from a section of reclaimed bowling lane that provides spacious and beautiful dining. Den: The den contains a relaxing reading area that has a Queen pull-out sofa and a slider to a wood deck overlooking the front yard. Full Bathroom 1: Contains a tub/shower and a granite vanity. Full Bathroom 2: Contains a tub/shower and a granite vanity. Bedroom 1: Master bedroom with Queen bed. Bedroom 2: Two Twin beds. Bedroom 3: Two Twin beds. Bedroom 4: Queen bedroom. LOWER LEVEL Den/Playroom: This bonus space contains a large, wall-mounted flat-screen TV with DVD player as well as many board games, puzzles and toys for all ages. EXTERIOR The slate dining patio at the back of the house is a quiet and tranquil spot. It includes a gas grill and outdoor dining for 10. The very private back yard has amazing views over Flat Ledge Quarry. (Note: Very small children must be monitored near the quarry). Lounge in the full-size hammock in the back yard or relax under the umbrella at the additional dining table on the wooden deck that overlooks large front yard. PARKING Off-street parking for up to 5 cars. ALSO AVAILABLE AS A WINTER RENTAL. Everything in the house remains the same except in the off season there are 3 bedrooms (as opposed to four in the summer).
