The Pura Vida is a luxurious 4 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom waterfront lake house on the PUBLIC side of Lake Anna featuring a 15 x 28 foot waterfront mini golf course.
The house also has Xfinity cable TV & Internet, which is a rare find on the lake. Most houses offer satellite or DSL, which have much slower Internet speeds. Hence, streaming movies and working from the Lakehouse is easily done.
The house and décor embody the meaning of the term ”Pura Vida.” It is a phrase used in the Costa Rican culture which literally means “Pure Life,” but is commonly used to mean 'full of life' or 'this is living!' The beauty and serenity of the house and Lake Anna is truly “Pura Vida” living.
This lake home boasts breathtaking views of the lake from several rooms with over-sized Anderson glass windows and sliders throughout the house, including a stunning wall of windows expanding up 20 feet in the main level great room.
This two level 3200 square foot home has two master bedrooms both with lake views, king beds and private master spa baths with custom tile work and rain shower heads, one family bedroom with one queen bed, a twin trundle bed and a private bathroom, and a 4th bedroom with a queen bed. The sofa in the basement recreational room also has a queen-sized pull-out bed. High quality towels and bed linens are also provided. Similar to luxury hotels, we use high quality duvet covers with hypoallergenic comforter inserts, vs. bedspreads. The duvet covers will be washed between each guest's stay. In addition, our indoor sofas and chairs are all real leather surfaces. There is no soft fabric furniture.
Enjoy the gourmet kitchen which is open to the dining room and living room. The kitchen is fully stocked with stainless steel appliances and utensils. The dining room table has 2 leaves and can accommodate up to 10 people comfortably with 2 additional people a few feet away at the kitchen island. The screen porch table can accommodate 6-8 people. There are 2 outdoor patio tables on the deck and patio that can accommodate 4-5 people at each table.
The outdoor living at the Pura Vida is just as spectacular as the indoor living. Enjoy dining and hanging outdoors at night or snoozing during the day in the large screened-in porch with dining area and huge sofa sectional. The screen porch is located via sliding glass door off the kitchen. Dine, grill and enjoy sunbathing on an expansive 60-foot deck which is the entire back side of the house. It wouldn't be “Pura Vida” living without hammocks, swing, lounge chairs, and more.
This house is designed for entertaining! Bring your family and friends down for a long weekend to enjoy the game or a holiday. The house has 2 large 60-65 inch Smart flatscreen TVs, 1 40 inch flatscreen HD TV, A state of the art- built-in surround sound systems on the lower level, basement recreation room, deck, ping pong table room and even the basement bathroom, so you don't miss a moment of the big game.
For rainy days, the house is also stocked with an Xbox 360 and games, DVD player, Satellite TV, High Speed Internet/Wi-fi, movies, books, board games and more.
The Pura Vida is located on a quiet, calm cove, a no wake zone, on the Public side of the lake. The cove is very safe for swimming, paddle boating, paddle boarding, fishing, kayaking, and more. Unlike other houses located on the main part of the lake, which can be very loud with choppy waters, the Pura Vida’s quiet cove mutes' loud weekend and, even, early morning noises from boats and jet skis. The Anderson windows and upgraded soundproof insulation silence the noise from the inside. Enjoy 'gas' heat/HVAC and fireplace on a cozy winter weekend retreat.
Explore the creek on the shoreline behind the house with fish, turtles, and salamanders and, perhaps, spot the local Beaver.
The location is central and only minutes away, both driving and boating, to many areas on the lake including the Lake Anna State Park, the Boardwalk with restaurants, Food Lion shopping center, Lake Anna Winery, and much more.

OTHER THINGS TO KNOW:
No fireworks are allowed and quiet time is 11 pm to 7 am. These rules, as well as maximum occupancy, are monitored by the HOA. They will evict guests for violating these rules.
