The Whole House = Lazy Bowen Hideaway plus the Lazy B Waterfront Suite is an inviting Medium High Bank Waterfront home/duplex with Spectacular southerly Views of the Coastal Mountains, Shipping Lanes, and Vancouver British Columbia.
The Whole House rental is a total of 1800 square feet of indoor living space and over 1000 square feet of outdoor decks.
Access between the Lazy Bowen Hideaway and the Lazy B Waterfront Suite is through a set of outside stairs.

The WHOLE HOUSE has *3 bedrooms, each with plush queen size beds, plus an upgraded Full-size sleeper sofa. Sleeps 8 guests.
BEDROOMS –
Hideaway bedroom #1 ~ The Spacious Seaside Bedroom has a NEW Stearns & Foster Plush Queen bed with Fine Linens, Flat Screen 40" TV and a Picturesque Ocean view.
Hideaway bedroom #2 ~ The Private Trailside Bedroom has a comfy Queen bed, Flat Screen TV, Sitting Room and Private deck with Ocean View. Another Stunning View is enjoyed from the sitting room opening out to the Private Deck equipped with chairs, perfect for your morning coffee.
The Waterfront Suite *bedroom #3 ~It sleeps up to four guests in a semi-private sleeping area with a plush queen bed and an optional twin bed, both gently partitioned from the living area by a quaint wood-burning stove. Awaken to the NEW wall of glass with a spectacular southerly Howe Sound view of the Coastal Mountains, ferry lanes, and Vancouver. The NEW view windows/sliders open out to the NEW private weather poof deck for your morning coffee or sunset viewpoint. *the Waterfront Suite bedroom does not have a door and is semi-private and partially open to the living room similar to a hotel room studio suite.
The Waterfront Suite BED #4 also offers a sleeper sofa with an upgraded full-size mattress that is located in the Waterfront Suite living room.

The Waterfront Suite has a living room with seating for 4 guests. Our NEW view windows (2 six foot sliding glass doors) have opened up the entire room to more southerly sunshine, ocean views, and decks. Relax and enjoy the 42" flat screen TV with Roku Wi-Fi and cable connection, VCR, and DVD player. We also provide a library of VHS and DVD movies.
FREE WI-FI ~ To stay connected we have FREE High-Speed Wireless Internet.....the fastest available on Bowen Island.
TV & ENTERTAINMENT:
The property has 4 flat screen TVs all with cable connections. The Hideaway TV is a High Definition 55" Smart TV with a DVD and VHS player. We have a large collection of Classic VHS movies and some DVDs. The 2 Hideaway bedrooms each have flat screen TVs. The Suite living room has a 42" flat screen TV with Roku Wi-Fi connection, DVD and VHS players.
GAMES & PUZZLES are provided for rainy day family activities.

With the rental of the complete Lazy Bowen Hideaway plus the Lazy B Waterfront Suite, you will have 2 Efficient Kitchens......The Hideaway kitchen is an all-new Chef's kitchen, completely renovated as of December 2014: granite counters, ultra-quiet Bosch dishwasher, 2 convection ovens, microwave, filtered water and ice, and Stainless refrigerator.
The Waterfront Suite kitchen has NEW GRANITE counters and a NEW dishwasher… Plus, stove, oven, fridge, and microwave. Both are Well Equipped with all the necessary tools for your culinary creations: pots, pans, dinnerware, glassware, flatware and including a Family size skillet for morning pancakes….plus more.
DINING:
The Hideaway has a vintage dining table that will expand to seat 6 guests plus granite counter dining with 4 counter stools. Weather permitting we have Outdoor dining for 6 guests on the NEW waterfront dining deck.

WASHROOMS - 2:
Both washrooms are water efficient with Lush Towels, Hairdryer, Shampoo & Conditioner. The Hideaway washroom has a Tub/shower. Both have bright LED lighting.
The NEW Waterfront Suite washroom was just renovated Spring 2014 with a walk in glass surround shower and pebble floor… New, Fresh, and Bright.
WASHER / DRYER -1 SET:
The Lazy Bowen Hideaway is conveniently equipped with a Washer and Dryer. The Waterfront Suite does not have a washer and dryer for guests use.
NEW CEDAR DECKS WITH NEARLY INVISIBLE STEEL RAILS AND MESH
The multiple south facing LARGE Decks for the Hideaway and the Waterfront Suite invites you to enjoy the Sound of the Waves washing the beach while connecting with Nature. The Waterfront Suite has a large covered, weatherproof deck for fresh air waterfront enjoyment rain or shine.
BBQ'S - 2:
The Hideaway has a family size Weber Propane BBQ on the NEW Dining deck. The Waterfront Suite has a smaller Weber propane BBQ. We provide some propane.
FREE On-property Parking is provided for AWD vehicles.
FREE parking is available for 2 wheel drive vehicles at the top of our driveway.

Parking on the property requires driving a short distance on Cleator Road: it is steep in spots, it is made of loose gravel, and it has 3 tight turns. An all-wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicle the size of a Ford Explorer or smaller is required to drive Cleator Road. Or, you may choose to park your 2 wheel drive vehicle at the top of the road and take the 5-minute walk down to the cottage. Parking is free.
2WD VEHICLES ARE REQUIRED TO PARK AT THE TOP OF OUR DRIVEWAY ~ NO EXCEPTIONS
CLEATOR ROAD SHUTTLE: $40
For our 2-wheel drive guests…You may be interested in the assistance of our Shuttle Driver to help you with your luggage and groceries. With synchronization of your arrival and departure times, our Driver can meet you upon arrival at THE TOP OF OUR DRIVEWAY, Cleator Road and at check-out at the Lazy Bowen Hideaway to assist you with luggage and groceries down and then up Cleator Road. Please let us know if we can coordinate this service for you and your family. (This service is dependent on our driver’s availability and may not be available for all requests.) The $40 fee is round trip.
