There are so many places for friends and family to gather, but also so many places to escape to read a good book while taking in the tranquil setting of this home. You'll also have access to the Rumbling Bald Resort amenities (complimentary passes available upon arrival), including private beach area, swimming pool and lazy river, fitness center, boat rentals, putt putt, salon/spa, and more. The home is also within a 10-20 minute drive of several Lake Lure restaurants (Point of View, Larkins on the Lake, LakeHouse Restaurant Bar & Grill), Carolina Moon Coffee (just outside of the resort), and a large Ingles grocery store. The charming mountain town of Chimney Rock is just 30 minutes away- enjoy hiking to view & waterfalls and head back down to shop, dine, or enjoy a drink at Hickory Nut Gorge Brewery or Burntshirt Vineyards Tasting Room. Downtown Black Mountain and Tryon are scenic 45 minute drives from the house, with Asheville and Hendersonville also within an hour drive of Rumbling Falls. Our cleaning crew chief is a former nurse, and everyone on the cleaning team preparing the property for your stay wears disposable gloves and is taking special care to disinfect surface areas such as phone handsets, remote controls, door knobs, light switches, etc. During the summer season only (early June - mid-August), Rumbling Falls has a 7-day minimum stay requirement (Saturday-Saturday).
