WELCOME to our beautiful Playa Cofresi “piece of paradise”, Villa de las Sirenas (House of the Mermaids). Our villa is a PRIVATELY OWNED beach house custom built by a well-known Dominican Republic builder, Chava, and architect, Felipe.
We are NOT PART of the Lifestyle Resort. We call our place “FreeStyle”. You’re free to do whatever you desire and whenever you like. There are amenities that are “yours and only yours to enjoy”. You have total privacy at the pool area and beautifully landscaped gardens … no crowds.
We are a two-minute walk to the public beach on our neighborhood street. So if you’re looking for solitude and beautiful ocean views, Villa de las Sirenas is for you and your family. Our place is perfect for celebrating honeymoons, anniversaries, monumental or not birthdays and incredible vacations.
Our staff is included in the rental price. You will have your own cook who can prepare just about anything your heart desires. No GERMY buffets, crowds or lines. Your food will be fresh and properly washed for consumption. We estimate US$10 per day per person for groceries excluding alcohol. Our cook will do the grocery shopping when you decide your menu. Liquor, beer and wine can also be purchased at the grocery store. We highly recommend buying local alcohol beverages, Brugal rum and Presidente beer. Imports are more expensive. We’ve always thought the wines were reasonably priced.
When you book our villa, we will send you a pamphlet to answer many questions and to provide a sample menu. Excursions are also available by either booking online or through Gus, who will come by the villa to arrange any excursions that may strike your fancy. He is not part of our staff and is an independent tour guide. We are always available by email through HomeAway/VRBO.
Included in the staff is a housekeeper, a pool person/gardener/errand person and a security guard. The property is totally and beautifully fenced in with iron gates at the entrance to the property. Street lights provide visibility at night.

The closest airport, Puerto Plata Airport (POP), is only a 30 minute car ride to the villa and Santiago Airport (STI) is 70-90 minutes from the villa depending on traffic. Punta Cana Airport is over 6 hours away by car. We can assist you in arranging ground transportation from either POP or STI airports.
