Spend some time in our newly renovated basement apartment! We are located in a quiet neighborhood just minutes outside of Cherry Creek. DU (Denver University) is 5 minutes west, DIA is 30 minutes east, and downtown Denver is just 15 minutes north. We are just a few blocks off of I-25 and easily accessible to the light rail. You can walk to a few great eateries and coffee shops nearby, or enjoy some in the spacious kitchen area here. Enjoy a private entrance and accessible street parking.
Welcome to our chic navy basement. We just recently completed some renovations and are excited to offer all new amenities! The house was originally built in the 50s and so you will hear the original floors creak as we live upstairs with our sweet pups, we try to keep the sound down so you can enjoy a nice stay. Due to the dogs we are not offering access to the front or back yard. The basement rental offers a nice change of cooler Colorado air and is healthily stocked with blankets galore. It does generally stays a few degrees cooler than the rest of the house but we try to maintain it well so you are comfortable throughout your stay.
You can have your pick between two queen beds, one is a plush mattress while the other is a firm. There is a great comfy couch just inviting you to cuddle up and watch some tv. You can easily log onto any of your favorite streaming shows to pick up where you left off.
The kitchen offers a great large fridge with a freezer. A full dishwasher, sink (with disposal), microwave, and Keurig machine with starter tea, hot chocolate and most importantly coffee are there for you as well. We have basic utensils and dishware so you can warm up some meals. Please note that toiletries and Keurig provided may not last your entire stay. The full washer and dryer are there for you to use also. There is also an iron and ironing board tucked into one of the bedroom closets if you find that you need it.
We are doing our absolute best during COVID to keep everything safe between us and you. We are neat freaks ourselves and are striding to surpass Airbnb’s safety protocols.

Summary: Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. The location was very close to I-25, with gas stations and a Target close by. Easy to get to/from most parts of Denver, and about a 30 min drive to Denver International Airport. Unit was clean, and had plenty of space for us. The beds were comfy and cozy. One of the two rooms has a ceiling fan, and both have full size closets. In-unit laundry was a huge plus. Noise from those walking upstairs was minimal, but expected given that this rental is a basement unit. Only complaints: barking from the dogs upstairs woke us up a few mornings. Also, there was no accessible light switch for the light above the stairs, which would have been nice since we came in at night a few times during the stay. Street parking was available, but given that this is a residential street, there were not always spots available directly in front of the house. The owners have done a great job with the renovations and decor in this unit and this is the perfect amount of space for 2-4 people visiting Denver. Would definitely stay here again!
