Quiet neighborhood across the street from a beach access; walking distance to Food Lion, local shopping, plenty of restaurants. 4 blocks from public boat ramp with free parking. A few mins drive or walk to multiple kayak launch sites, fishing piers, tennis courts, Parks & Rec center, etc. 10 blocks walk to Middleton Park for Monday farmer's market, skate park, Fri/Sat night free music concerts.
I live upstairs in the main house and the apartment is downstairs with a separate private entrance. About 5 miles drive to the nuclear power plant or Dosher Hospital; & downtown Sourthport, so my apartment and location is perfect for outage and contract workers and beach visitors.
I hosted my apartment several years ago for short term visitors, but then took a 4 year tenant. Please see my positive reviews from 2018-2019. I live upstairs full time and am a quiet considerate owner & host. The apartment downstairs has a private entrance from the driveway; the apt is 1095 sq ft with a full kitchen, dining, living, bedroom and bathroom & large walk in closet. Utilities & wifi are included in daily/weekly/monthly rates. Smart TV, but no cable TV; I have an antenna and receive 22 local channels and hundreds of free Live TV streaming channels.
No washer/dryer, but there is a local laundromat that other tenants have used, whereby you drop off your laundry and pick it up at a designated time, all cleaned & folded.
I live here full time so I'm available to point you in the right direction or call and reserve Oak Island light house tour, recommend local & Southport restaurants & activities, taking the ferry for a beautiful short 30 min ride to Fort Fisher and the sea aquarium, the civil war museum, and the fishing, surfing and swimming spots.
Lots to do and see here in OKI, Southport and surrounding areas, especially if you're a history buff for the American Revolution (Brunswick Town is about 25 min drive North from here) or Civil War eras. Just ask and I will hopefully know where to guide you or I will find out for you.
