Summary: I booked this property 5 days in advance, and everything was confirmed on line. I traveled 725 miles with my son to surprise my mother for her 80th birthday my family plan for months. I got to the property early that morning after traveling all night on the road and it looked just like the add showed. When I rang the bell a woman told me to call her husband and said they were not renting out the property. I was so overwhelmed I sat in my car and called Vbro to see if this was a fraud account. The agent put me on hold for 45minutes, then I received an email from the property manager that the plumbing was bad and they're canceling the rental to me! the agent came back on the phone and said that I would be refunded in 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS? I said that's nice, but what the hell am I going to do about right now. It took another 1 1/2 hours on the phone wait until they booked me in a commercial hotel next to the chickens and the cows for me to stay for 1 night when I had booked this rental for the weekend. So I had to come back out of my pocket to pay for the 2nd night. My issue is if you know the property is not up to par, why to put it on line and take peoples money? and if so, why to wait till the hour of to inform the person that there is a problem when you knew days before I traveled 725 miles with my son and that sound he calls music to tell me you canceled? My mother had a wonderful party regardless, but next time I will call and make concrete arrangements personally. Hope this app improves before then.
