Legassi Gardens Apartments is our family home, over 1 acre of trees, flowers and some pretty weeds...in Accra, with fast road links to every part of town. We live on one side of a 'flower wall', with private apartments on the other side, so we can share our 'suburban green space'!
The apartments are completely self-contained with 2 bedrooms, set in the garden compound, with table tennis, an on-site Convenience Store and Vegan Cafe. Pokuase is a busy town, with lots and lots of local shopping, bars and 'hangouts' called 'spots'. Ideal for the adventurous tourist, where you can just jump on a trotro and blend in. We are around 10 minutes from St Johns, Achimota, close to the shopping and bars of Kwabenya, around ACP area, 20 minutes from Accra Mall or the new Weija Mall, by car.
The apartments can accommodate up to four persons, with big discounts for long stay /students /volunteers /single occupants.
The apartments are regularly refurbished (usually after each occupant), tiled throughout, and tastefully furnished, with basic kitchenette, private patio and entrance; they are available for short to long lets. We have international guests from all over Europe, USA and beyond, visiting Ghana for a range of reasons (study, work, romance) all mixing in an Afrohemian atmosphere!
Live-in staff are on-site to provide security and assistance whenever needed.
The rent (negotiable) is inclusive of:
-electricity, water, gas
-cleaning, washing, gardening, security (although 'tipping' is standard)
-full maintenance services
-off street parking
-internet access
-backup generator, which we put on when light is off
-our own bore hole water source with a filtration system, so that water can be pumped straight into your tank to avoid water shortages in your apartment
The apartments are located on a hill just off the Achimota (N6) motorway in a quiet hillside residential area, accessible from either ACP or Pokuase Junction.
The apartment is completely self-contained and private, with 2 bedrooms, sitting area, an equipped basic kitchenette, patio, shower and front door.
