I am Sakula Wickremasinghe . I am a very open minded person who is interested in meeting new people, exploring the world, understanding different cultures and doing something innovative. I have traveled to quite few countries including England, Ireland, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, India, Jordan and Kuwait. I have a degree and masters in software engineering and I lived in England for 6 years. Now I own a company Feel Sri Lanka which is mainly in to tourism.
Green View a cozy home which was given to me by my wonderful parents whom I love more than anything in my life.This is the home I grew up with my brothers till I left to England for my higher studies .This lovely home has a total land area of 23000 sq. and has 6000 sq lovely garden.The garden enriched with flora and fauna. I want people who visit the diverse island of Sri Lanka to see new places where they can relax, enjoy and feel the fresh (website hidden) main is to bring tourism to village level and show the typical sri lankan culture and pure tourism than typical commercialized tourism. I always try to take my guests to hidden attractions which are sometimes not seen by any tourists at all or only seen by very few. These are incredible places which are totally untouched far from noise and pollution. There are many hidden attractions in my town which tourists will really love to see and feel. People who have stayed with us so far have been very happy and thanked me and my family for their unique experience.
As I told you earlier the main idea for starting our home stay was to make a change in Sri Lankan tourism. Sri Lankan tourism is now in a phase where all travelers go to the same places and they get nothing more than a commercialized tourism. However, what people really seek is genuine Sri Lankan culture, nature, our traditional food and life-style. I hope my effort in doing something new in Sri Lanka tourism will be successful with your support.
