We have 3 rooms in our house for guests. We also have a very cute self catering caravan with full bathroom which sleeps two people. Breakfast included in price. Coffee/teas, hot chocolate, toast, jams, cereals, fruit, juice.
We are extremely lucky to live in Kerry and to have the Wild Atlantic Way on our doorstep. Seamus and I love to explore the beautiful costal routes and hike, cycle and mountain climb at every opportunity.
As a result of working in the tourist industry for many, many years I've extensive knowledge of the area as well as the entire country.
About us: We enjoy travelling and have been to many beautiful places over the past couple years. New Zealand, Hongkong, Australia, Peru and Machu Picchu, and climbing Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, more recently Vietnam, Cambodia, Cuba, Ukraine and Greece, Turkey, Italy,Morocco , USA and Canada along with many, many cities throughout Europe. We love going out and especially meeting up with friends and neighbours in our local pub "The Shanty" for ceoil agus craic, as well as enjoying theatre and musicals. Castlemaine is approx 5 minutes drive and we recommend Griffins bar and restaurant for pub food. They serve food until 8pm daily. The Brogue on Rock Street, Tralee is also great.
Tralee is about 10 minutes drive from us. Tralee has a wide variety of eateries, Italian, Asian, Chinese, as well as traditional.
We have made heaps of friends through Homestay and look forward to making more in this year as well as welcoming back some we've had over the past couple years. Here's to love, health and happiness for the coming year and a bucket list that gets longer and longer as a result of meeting amazing Homestay guests.
Smoking allowed outside only and to accommodate our guests who smoke we have a porch with seating which is sheltered from the rain.
This upstairs room has double bed, private bathroom. Self catering facilities in this room. Fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and I leave supplies for breakfast
