We are excited to share the Eagles Nest with you. The Eagles Nest features four bedrooms and three bathrooms on three floors. There is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy. The home is directly on the river with a beautiful large dock and some of the best trout fishing waters in the world. The property is expansive with approximately 1.5 acres with 300 feet of private riverfront footage. A unique feature of this home is the large hill right across the river with no homes built on the opposite side of the river. This leads to a truly peaceful and private experience for our guests.
The home features massive decks with great views of the river and nearby eagles. There have been nests on property in the past; currently the Eagles reside nearby but can often been seen high up in the trees on our property.
Inside the home, the top floor features two bedrooms, a full bath, and wonderful top floor master suite viewing deck. The middle floor features the living, kitchen, and dining areas, as well as a bedroom/playroom with a twin sleeper sofa with room for an air mattress. The walk out basement features a full kitchenette, bathroom, living area, and queen bedroom.
Back to the fishing! A 38 pound then record brown trout caught just a few years ago a half mile down river. Large trophy browns are caught regularly in this area. The dock is a great spot to drop a line, particularly when the river is up. This is a very well stocked river with over 800,000 trout released in the White River every year. If the river is down low, wade fishing is ideal and heading out to the middle of the river offers great casts across to the deeper pools. A resort is just down the lightly traveled road and features both boat rentals and guide services. The beautiful Bull Shoals lake is also nearby with boat rentals and other fishing opportunities available.
The owners love coffee so there are drip coffee makers and Keurigs in the main kitchen and in the kitchenette. The main kitchen also features a coffee grinder. While cable/satellite are not provided we do have wifi, a tv, and roku device. The roku features disney plus, amazon, and access to your own personal streaming services.
Ask about our 7+ day rental discount. We do rent out just the basement with kitchenette for groups of 2-4 at a cheaper price but this rental listing is for the entire property.
