Summary: We pulled into the driveway to discover multiple notices from the City regarding the trash on the lawn and the unmown grass. Despite telling the owner about this moments after our arrival, it was not dealt with in the three days we were there. Inside was okay - plenty of space for the four of us, comfy beds, clean bedrooms, functional kitchen. However, there were many things that were broken or needed work in this home - from the lamp in one of the bedrooms needing a working bulb, a desk chair missing a wheel, a window with a broken handle making it hard to open, holes in the wall where there should be a toilet paper holder or a towel bar, the walls were generally dirty-looking and scuffed, the shower has very low pressure, and drains very slowly... While we knew not to expect the utmost in luxury, there are some things one expects when staying in a Vrbo home: dish towels, hand soap in the bathrooms, salt and pepper... While we were happy with having a place to stay in this beautiful part of Ontario, we encourage the owner to do more to make this a welcoming home for future guests. Thank you.
