Terrific central Berkshire location within easy reach of the village of West Stockbridge and center of Lenox. The main living room features floor to ceiling stone fireplace with STUV insert, den is cozy TV room with working fireplace, additional atrium style living room provides stunning views of house’s natural surrounds, dining room positioned off main living room with opening to screened-in porch, large indoor heated pool framed by post and beam and natural stone patio surround provides plenty of room for poolside lounging, expansive deck features stylish and comfortable patio & dining furniture while the screened-in porch offers recluse from the elements, with conversational seating and equally stunning views. Eat-in kitchen is cozy with window-paned shutter style opening to dining room. The house sleeps 12-14. There are 4 bedrooms on the second floor, along with a cozy sleeping nook and an additional 2 queen beds in lounge/tv/game room. The remaining bedroom on the third floor is an oasis accessed by spiral staircase with charming twin beds. The house offers 4 ½ baths - 1 and 1/2 on the first floor and 3 on the second floor. The unfinished but sizable basement offers a ping pong table.
If you ever care to venture away from all the property itself has to offer, just steps away are trails to the top of Lenox Mountain and just down the hill there are 3+ miles of picturesque woodland hiking trails winding through Stevens Glen. A short car ride will take you to Tanglewood, Kripalu Yoga Center, Cranwell Resort, Stockbridge Bowl, Olivia’s Overlook and so many other treasures the Berkshires offers. The nearby centers of West Stockbridge, Great Barrington, Stockbridge and Lee offer an array of interesting shops and eateries. (Due to COVID 19 many establishments are not currently operational.
