Summary: The cabin was lovely and so private and quiet. We all enjoyed sitting on the deck and also sitting down by the river taking in the scenery. We were amazed by the giant ponderosa trees. We live in the mountains in Colorado but had never seen trees as tall and big as these. Deer wandered by each day grazing in the yard. We used electric baseboard heat in the bedrooms at night and warmed the house with the fireplace during the day. Nearby Fenton Lake was the perfect place to watch the eclipse. The kitchen was well supplied and even had a Keurig and another coffee pot to use. I would like to see more of this information listed in the amenities. We were able to cross the small stream and get to the cabin, but we drove a Subaru and a CRV. It would be good to mention this in your description to access the cabin. Thanks so much!
