Summary: We've rented 5 great houses in Calif during the past 3 yrs and I think this was my favorite. In photos, the interior furnishings look a bit dated but in our experience, everything was fresh and stylish and pristine. The beautiful kitchen was fully outfitted with everything you need including All-Clad pots. All the windows and sliding glass doors allowed for maximum light. Floor plan was ideal and especially loved that everything is on one level- no stairs to climb. The grounds are gorgeous and plantings, trees, shrubs, ground cover etc must've been created by a very talented designer. Long range views are also spectacular and we had complete privacy and quiet. We loved foraging for oranges and lemons on the property and one tree in particular put out the best oranges we've ever eaten. There's also an avocado tree. The hosts were very generous with supplies and some nice snacks awaited us. Master bedroom mattress was super comfortable. As far as I know, the other K bed was also OK. The queen mattress in one of the bedrooms was rock hard and needs to be replaced. Even that wouldn't dissuade us from staying again- if necessary, a renter could take a trip to Target and get both a convoluted foam (egg crate pad) as well as a memory foam topper. That's how hard it was so it really should be replaced. All appliances in the house are high end incl Miele? washing machine and dryer. We did have some trouble getting the clothes dryer to stay on for longer than 30 mins at a time.
