Summary: The property is beautiful, modern, and in a nice location. It feels like you are living in luxury, in the middle of the forest, with the conveniences of Tuscaloosa a few minutes away. The backyard fire pit is a really nice place to spend an evening. The Keurig coffee selection and basket of snacks provided by the host were excellent. The shower situation however, stopped this stay from being perfect. The shower needs a new solution. With the water flowing, the curtain gets sucked in and then sticks to your body. Together with the shower head that does not stay in position, it makes it much more difficult than it needs to be to shower. The following issues did not distract from the experience, but I'm adding them here as a note to the owners: Some of the wall fixtures, like the toilet roll holders, were pulling out of the wall, with the most concerning one being the handrail to the beds in the attic. But, in summary, the house is beautiful, in a nice location, and if the shower situation can be fixed, it might get close to perfect.
