Spend a week renting a comfortable, rustic cabin surrounded by the Chippewa National Forest on beautiful Lake Wabana. Our cabin is located approximately 12 miles north of Grand Rapids on a quiet bay of the lake. Lake Wabana is a large, clear, spring-fed lake that is connected to other lakes by channels. Our property is well cared for, private and quiet, yet close enough to Grand Rapids for shopping, movies, restaurants, etc. Horseback riding and golf in the area. The lake is perfect for swimming, boating and fishing. - Amenities include refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, shower, two bathrooms, heat, master bedroom has air conditioning and lake view, screened porch, wood-burning fireplace, fire pit, volley-ball net, canoe, rowboat (on which you can add your own motor), and space to dock your boat (public boat launch across the bay). - The cabin is close to the docks and the water - Master bedroom has 2 twin beds, 2nd main floor bedroom sleeps 4 (twin upper, full lower bunk bed plus separate twin bed). Loft sleeps 4 with a bunk bed and 2 twins. Our cabin is available for rent on a weekly basis which runs from Friday at 4:00 p.m. to Friday 11:00 a.m. Rental weeks available in June, July, August and September.
