Welcome to Shore to Please, a fully renovated waterfront rental in 2022 on beautiful Norris Lake. New owners inviting you to come enjoy their personally appointed cabin for your group or family getaway! Now in its third season, attention to detail and constant updates have made this beautiful lakefront cabin the home for your ideal vacation in comfort and style. The cabin is located in a low-traffic, secluded mile-deep cove past the floating houses a short distance from the full-service Flat Hollow Marina (also under new ownership and vastly improved over the past year).
Shore to Please offers three levels of fun plus a Crow’s Nest bedroom that's a favorite with big and small alike. With a total of 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, this cabin comfortably sleeps 16.
The main floor invites guests to enjoy the great room with a lake view under a soaring cathedral pine ceiling, and a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows providing views of both the woods and the lake and inviting natural light throughout the open concept space. No steps from parking directly into the house, this level also offers a roomy kitchen, half-bath, and no-steps master bedroom with king bed and adjoining private full bath.
The upper landing offers 2 Family Suite bedrooms, each with a private vanity. Each offers a queen bed, and one has a set of twin bunk beds while the other has The Crow’s nest, sleeping 2 in a full bed. Both bedrooms share a Jack and Jill full bath.
The lower level offers a large family room, third full bathroom, laundry room, and bedroom with two double-bed size bunks (sleeps 8, great for kids!). All bedrooms have tasteful theme decor, comfortable mattresses and ceiling fans.
The spacious family room on the lower level invites guests to come together with another inside option, and walks out to a party-lit landing with string lights, comfy outdoor furniture surrounding a gas fire table. There's also a porch swing on this deck, and all of it offers beautiful views to the lakefront and dock below.
Full width decks stretch across the back of the cabin while the front porch offers room near parking and a turned staircase leading to the dock. A separate hot tub deck, the fire pit and corn hole landing, and dock lure guests to come together outside. Wooden steps from the gradually sloped gravel landing area down to the water provide easy access to the covered dock at full pool.
The private dock has a 20' deep covered slip, 2 new jet ski ports, and sits back in a quiet cove that's perfect for swimming and fishing. A swim ladder makes getting in and out the water easy. There are also 6 kayaks and 2 paddleboards as well as a big Lily Pad floating mat provided free of charge for exploring and fun on the water. Further back in the cove, discover the rope swing, and in the other direction, just past the marina, enjoy some of the best skiing water on Norris Lake!
A parking area off the main road directly in front of the house accommodates 3–5 cars. Additional parking is available at the marina's Lot C overflow lot if needed, or at the manager's office with advance notice. Trailer parking is available through the marina, and the boat launch is just a half mile away.
The amenities and improvements list just keeps growing: an indoor gas fireplace (for use in cooler weather), the outdoor gas fire table, and hard-lined propane grill and so much decor and furniture have been added, all to make it feel like your home away from home!
Inside, you'll find everything to make your stay comfortable: the family and great rooms offer great indoor space along with a fully equipped kitchen with counter bar and pull up stools; dining table (seats 10). Double couches in the Great Room with large screen Smart TV makes this a favorite gathering place. In the lower level rec / family room, you'll find comfortable furniture and a TV with DVD player.
For the more laid back, there's also a selection of books, movies, and games for all ages. Other amenities include dual zoned HVAC, satellite/cable; unlimited high speed Wi-Fi, washer & dryer, coffee maker, pantry, iron, ironing board, hair dryers, and a first aid kit.
Sunday (3 pm) to Sunday (10 am) full week rentals all summer from Memorial Day Thru Labor Day. We have three night minimum stays for holidays, and two night minimums in the off season. Split Firewood is available for delivery thru a local supplier with advance purchase arrangements, or may be purchased on-site using a QR code (subject to availability and TVA not having posted a ban on burning).
Hot tub is completely drained, sanitized and refilled between each rental, and chemicals and test strips are provided for your use during your stay.
Bring your own boats and jet skis, or rent ours. We have a 21' Crownline open bow ski boat (seats 7), 25' 2020 Avalon tritoon (seats 16, 200 hp), 21' 2019 Harris tritoon (seats 12, 150 hp) and 4 Yamaha and Sea Doo jet skis (all three-seaters) available for rent in season, along with life jackets available (subject to checking sizes in advance) and lake toys, delivered to the marina, dock and/or jet ski ports upon your arrival, or meet us at a launch, depending on the property location. Restrictions on minimum days rented w/o a delivery fee do apply. Operating instructions, safety training manual, and check-in / check-out in person with the dock guy are mandatory - minimum age 26.
