A 17th century south facing Farmhouse, hung with wisteria and jasmine, has its own very private enclosed garden with mature shrubs and old roses, accessed outside from the dining room .In a further area of the front gardenthere is a small summerhouse and an outside eating area with seating, and a charcoal BBQ .Also access to a level grassy area with wonderful view of the valley,(also enclosed), is accessed from this garden.There are also lovely views over the valley and hills beyond from upstairs bedroom windows and front garden.
It is attached to, but away facing (and at right angles)and very private from the small annexe in which the friendly owners live (they have their own access to their home from back parking area. )
Spacious dining room with oak table seating ten, Georgian dresser and sofa. The best wifi ( free)reception is in this room . Door out to front very private garden.
A cosy living room with huge original 17th Century fireplace with stylish wood burning stove. There is a 32" flat screen TV with Sky and DVD player, comfortable loose covered sofas, various other seating, plus original windowseat
Well appointed kitchen with TV and bespoke built-in units. Large original larder cupboard and large fridge freezer. Larder fridge in opposite utility room, also with washing machine and tumble dryer, through to a small bathroom (hip bath, shower over, WC basin).
Near to this bathroom, and also on ground floor, cosy single bedroom 3'6" antique bed, chest of drawers and bookshelves with selection of novels.
Upstairs (stairgate) to hallway off which is the master bedroom with en suite bathroom ,TV( freeview) , built in wardrobe, window sea.
tThere is a second double bedroom with TV,(freeview)window seat, large built in wardrobe and washbasin, with curtained doorway through to small twin room (3ft beds and built in wardrobe).Please note these two bedrooms interconnect with a curtained doorway in between, so may not be suitable for 4 adults who want privacy from eachother.!
They do make an excellent family suite for 2 adults ,2 children or 2/3 adults sleeping, 1 in the double, 1 person or 2 in the twins.
There is a 2nd Twin bedroom( 3ft beds) with antique washbasin, windowseat and it opens off the same small upstairs hallway as the other bedrooms and family bathroom.. In same hallway all these bedrooms open off is a small family bathroom with hip bath with shower over. The TVs in bedrooms and kitchen are Freeview, the lounge TV is Sky. There is a huge C17th fireplace in this living room. Logs for the woodburner provided.
