This stunning Waterfront Home is located on serene Lewis Creek - Paradise for Nature Lover's everywhere. Teeming with wildlife, you will love sipping your morning coffee while watching Herons, Egrets, and Eagles fish for their morning meal. The Creek connects the Chincoteague Bay to the Chincoteague Channel, with this beautiful Home tucked right in the middle. Dolphins can even be seen passing through during the warmer months. With deep water, it's perfect for boaters - tie up right outside your back door. Fish, Crab, Kayak, or simply relax and take in one of our famous Chincoteague Sunsets - Porthole offers everything Vacation Dreams are made of......
With 3 Bedrooms and 1 1/2 Baths, Porthole sleeps 8 more than comfortably. Located on Main Street, very close to the heart of the town, you have easy access to everywhere you want to be. This gorgeous Home offers plenty of parking, and lots of room to play. As you enter the gated backyard and climb the stairs, you can't take your eyes off of the water. While Porthole is directly on Lewis Creek, a glance to the right offers Views of the open Chincoteague Bay, and a glance to the left looks down the beauty of the Creek to the Channel and Chincoteague Drawbridge. Directly across from house, the Marsh Views are beyond breathtaking. Simply stunning in every direction.
Porthole was designed to maximize these amazing Views even while you're inside. The 1st floor has a wonderful layout for entertaining and simply spending time together. A warm & relaxing Living Area has plenty of comfy seating - a great place to share stories of the day's adventures. Mix up some Beachy Cocktails at the Bar, and relax on the spacious Waterfront Deck. You'll sink into the relaxing Wicker Furniture, and never want to leave. Just behind the Bar in the Living Area is a Work Station, so if you must plug in your laptop and do a little catching up, there's a place for that, and of course, Free WiFi. The well-stocked Kitchen will delight the Chef in your family and has all you need to make mealtime super easy. Dine indoors overlooking the Water, or on the Dock which has a Picnic Table, as well as several benches and chairs to enjoy.
Also on this level are 2 spacious Bedrooms, both with luxurious Queen Beds. Adorned in Blues & Greens of Sea Glass, they share a Jack & Jill Bathroom with a Tub/Shower Combo. Down the Hall, there is a convenient Half Bath near the Living Area. Follow the painted wooden stairs to discover one of the coolest things about Porthole. Upstairs is an expansive Family Room which also houses the 3rd Bedroom. At the top of the stairs to the left is a beautiful Privacy Screen - tucked just beyond that is a Full Bed and 2 Twin Beds. The kids will love staying up here, but it's perfect for the adults, too! The Family Room, located on the other side on the huge 2nd floor, has oversized, comfy Leather Furniture, Flat Screen Cable TV/DVD and even a Ping Pong Table overlooking the Water below.
