Summary: "We very much enjoyed staying in this property. We have had several holidays in Brittany in different locations. This one we enjoyed the most to date. It combined our requirements of spacious accommodation to include several people , proximity to a good beach (1/2 kilometre, if that) and with a good shop within walking distance. The bonus is the superb view over Port Manec'h harbour with its endless activity and the Aven/Bélon estuary. The substantial living quarters mean that nobody should feel cramped and the 180 degree views of the beach, harbour and estuary are exceptional. In addition there is a substantial terrace with, just below it, a reasonable small garden. There is sufficient room to park a vehicle off the road. The sleeping quarters, all with en suite facilities are also excellent. The furnishings are fine and all facilities are in good working order. It was very clean when we arrived. There would be no problem with any requirement of access for the disabled. The owner's agent and family were excellent and always helpful. We had to make 1 call to clarify how to use 2 items and there was no hesitation about helping us. The setting of the village is very pleasant. The coast path goes right past the house and from the door is a choice of coast cliff overlooking Ile de Groix and the Bay of Biscay or walking up the Aven towards Pont-Aven along wooded river banks. The beach is busy but was never crowded. It is a superb sea swimming location protected by a rocky outcrop and the harbour. The beach also has hiring of boats and a considerable sailing school. There are several restaurants within walking distance. We found the shop, a general store next to a tabac, very satisfactory with the proprietors most helpful. So, all in all it is an excellent holiday location. "
