It is directly across from the pool, and within walking distance to the beach. This house is fully stocked with all the amenities from home.
We are located on the Trolley route, where you can take a ride around town. Come stay and enjoy this great house.

Summary: Our family is from Alaska and we were attempting to escape the October rains for the Texas beach. We'd never explored this area of the US either, so we really didn't know what to expect. This was a very cute place! Exactly as described, and great communication with the hosting agent. It was convenient to the beach and town. We didn't really understand what "self-catered property" meant until we arrived, but there are stores nearby for anything you might need. It was very comfortable for our family! We went in October so we knew weather may impact our visit, and we ended up leaving early but not because of the home - it was very windy which made the beach and pool to challenging to enjoy. We also didn't fully appreciate how "off season" our stay would be. We had the complex area and pool to ourselves, and it's such a cute area! Everyone we saw was so friendly! But the off season nature made it a little sleepy - combined with the sandblasting wind we ended up exploring off island quite a bit. You can drive to the island, but the ferry is so much more convenient and fun. We would definitely go back and just plan better now that we know what to expect. Thankfully the home was a very lovely place to spend time hanging out in. No complaints!
