A farm of 1900 with spectacular view at 180 ° on the hills of the Orcia valley, 2 km. from the village of Monticchiello, district of Pienza (Siena). The entire property (house and annex) extends for 2 hectares and is surrounded by a garden with Mediterranean scrub, rosemary, roses, olive trees and cypresses, two fountains and a swimming pool that can be used during the summer season. Pergolas are equipped to eat and relax while enjoying the surrounding scenery.
The two-storey 300sqm house is a typical Tuscan farmhouse with six bedrooms and five bathrooms, a double lounge, a kitchen and a dining room with exposed beams on the ceilings, a wooden floor in the bedrooms and the terracotta hand-made on the ground floor.
The rooms, painted in lime with beautiful natural colors, are decorated with oriental antique furniture, ethnic fabrics and rugs, old prints, a collection of contemporary art. The fireplaces in the living room and the studio heat the cooler evenings, in the kitchen the wood stove warms up in the middle of the seasons, assisted by a pellet stove and gas heating for the winter.
