Plum Tree Cottage is aptly named, for the beautiful little archway of plum trees that each year, give us a wonderful array of fresh plums for eating, stewing, 'strudelling' and even turning into delicious liqueur! We have designed both Plum Tree, and Kate's cottage's garden around our fruit trees! Sitting under these are a myriad of herbs and vegetables, making it a busy but 'fruitful' experience stepping out from the cottages. Whether you choose to enjoy your evening drinks amongst it, or BBQ on the back terrace overlooking it, or even try your hand at digging up some of the produce … we think you will enjoy the outside spaces as much as the inside of Plum Tree Cottage. There is an aga for cooking and warming yourself by inside. (happy to give a quick lesson for those who havent cooked on one before!) and a wood stove burner in the front room! Once you step outside the cottage into the village - there is a 'myriad of goodness' in our high street - from Chocolate shops, Delis, cafes, good pubs, and many gift shops. We have weekly markets in our town hall which sell the freshest of fruit and veg! SO ... many reasons to come and share some time at Plum Tree Cottage!
