Located on the south side of 30A in the gated community of WaterSound West Beach (between Rosemary Beach and Seaside/Watercolor), Plimsoll Retreat offers private beach access along the beautiful meandering boardwalks leading to the stunning white sand and emerald waters of the gulf. Only 5-minute leisurely stroll down the beach boardwalk or and even quicker bike ride! The beach boardwalk is a beautiful 500 yard walk over a small lake that brings you into the dunes and the beach.
Plimsoll Retreat has plenty of room for your family vacation with 2500 sq ft of living space and a sophisticated, coastal décor (Sleeps 10). In this comfortably appointed home, you will find three bedrooms, each with its own flat screen TV and en suite bath, built in twin over twin bunks just off of a second level bonus room with an additional queen sleeper that closes off with barn doors if being used as a 4th bedroom. Sleeps 10 comfortably!
The first level of this beautiful home offers an open floor plan with a spacious living room beautifully centered around a large flat screen TV and complete with plenty of seating for the whole family. The adjacent chef's kitchen features commercial grade appliances, granite countertops and a center island perfect for preparing family meals. The dining room has a comfortable round table with seating for 6 with 3 barstools available at the kitchen island for additional seating. The dry bar next to the kitchen is a great place to mix your happy cocktail. The first of 2 king master suites is located on the first floor and features a large walk-in closet and en suite master bath with double vanity, water closet and spa shower. Also located on the first level is a guest powder room and separate laundry room with full size washer and dryer. The peaceful screened porch just off the living room is perfect for an afternoon nap or curling up with a book.
As you ascend the open staircase to the second level of the home, you will find a bonus room with a large flat screen television and plenty of space for playing games or watching a movie. There is a queen sleeper soft with 3" memory foam topper in the bonus room for additional sleeping arrangements, and closes off with barn doors for privacy. The second-floor hallway also provides a set of fun, built-in twin bunks and a hall bath. The second, beautifully decorated king master suite is located upstairs and features a walk-in closet, en suite bath with a double vanity and walk-in shower. Just down the hall there is yet another additional queen bedroom with a connected bath (share with the bunks) featuring a double vanity and shower/ bathtub combo.
Plimsoll Retreat is ideally located less than 1 mile from The Hub (entertaining/shopping/dining venue), 3 miles from Seaside, and 4 miles from Alys and Rosemary Beach. This great location is just off the 30A Bike Path and the convenient to the countless dining, shopping, and entertainment venues along famed 30A.
The community pool is a quick 5-minute stroll away along the many boardwalks or pedestrian paths of Watersound Beach. This is also where the private beach boardwalk is located where you can walk or bike down to the beach. No Customary Use issues here!
