Summary: We are a retired Canadian couple who enjoy meeting people and staying in Gites and B&B's, rather than large resorts. This apartment was perfect for us! We enjoyed Patrice and Christelle and their young family. They made us feel welcome in their home. Patrice was able to communicate with us very well in English. His spoken English was much better than our French! We particularly enjoyed him telling us about sights to see and he made excellent recommendations about travel routes. He spent valuable time with us, marking on our maps and pointing out the best places to visit. The apartment was very clean and well-equipped and suited our needs perfectly. We prefer the ambiance of a person's home to the sterile environment of a hotel, and the "Gites les Hesperides" was an ideal location for us! Thank you, Patrice and Christelle, for sharing your home with us!
